I grew up in Mexico where I worked with gardens and animals. When I got older, I moved to the United States started working as a gardener and loved it. I was well off with steady work, but I wasn’t fully satisfied. I felt like I was missing something. I wanted to grow.

I started taking landscaping classes, so I could get my contractor’s license. I wanted to do honest work and be great at it. I knew it would be hard, but I knew that was how I would grow into something better. I got certified and started Jonakee Landscaping.

After learning about landscaping and architecture I wanted to see these things for myself. I traveled across Europe and saw many famous sites such as the Eiffel Tower in France, and the The Vatican in Rome. I'm fascinated by landscaping design and take every opportunity I have to learn and travel to expand my knowledge. I enjoy taking my Belgian Malinois, Mia on walks around neighborhoods to find my next landscaping idea.
